ISN'T IT TIME YOU TOOK BACK CONTROL OF YOUR NUTRITION FOR GOOD?
You are what you eat. Never has a truer word been spoken, yet in the western world this basic truth is conveniently misplaced or worse out rightly ignored. There is much truth in the statement that ‘food is the most abused anxiety drug and exercise is the most underutilised antidepressant’. Yet so many of us are digging our graves with our own knife and fork.
We have been deceived into thinking that a ‘treat’ is the food that plays havoc with our blood sugar levels and mood, that fad diets are the way to ‘lose weight’ for that ‘beach body’ and in conforming to this mass deception, we cheat ourselves out of health, vibrancy, energy and the genuine pleasure of food. ‘That’s all well and good’ you may say, ‘but how do I know what to eat, how much and when?’ The importance of taking control is key to the answers. How can we take control?
Knowledge. Understanding the effect food has on our bodies can assist us in making more informed decisions as will recognising that we don’t need a short term diet but rather to make long term life changes.
Decisions, decisions…and that’s the problem isn’t it, how do you make the right ones? It’s clear, having the information in order to make informed decisions to our long term benefit is the solution, as is knowing what works FOR YOU. The great news is, the knowledge, the guidance and the results are there to be had, you just need to know where to look.
A nutrition guidance coach with proven knowledge who works WITH you is a great place to start.
